7/30/11 - The PENN FUSION ’93 BOYS will play for the 2011 US Youth Soccer National Championship crown on Sunday, July 31, against Grand Rapids Crew Juniors(MI). The two teams faced off yesterday in group play and Grand Rapids scored in the 72 minute to go ahead, but Keegan Rosenberry scored with a minute to play for the draw. GO PENN FUSION! Jan 6 - Penn Fusion Soccer Academy congratulates Casey Morrison of the Penn Fusion 92 Gaels U18 Girls for being selected as an All American by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) and People to People. Morrison was recently honored at the NSCAA annual convention in Maryland for her outstanding accomplishment. A member of the USYS Region I ODP pool, Morrison will be traveling to Russia in March to compete with the regional team. Morrison signed her National Letter of Intent on 2/2/11 to continue her soccer career at Boston College in Fall 2011. Feb 28, 2011 - The U.S. U-23 Women’s National Team (WNT) played its first international matches of the year when it traveled to Spain for the Four Nations Tournament featuring the U-23 teams of Sweden, Norway and England. U.S. head coach Bill Irwin brought a roster of 18 players, 10 of whom are professionals in WPS. Penn Fusion congratulates Becky Edwards and Sinead Farrelly on their selection. The U-23 WNT defeated Sweden 4-2 in the opening game and tied England 1-1 in the next game. The USA finishes the tournament on March 1 against Norway. Click here to follow the action.
