The Goalkeeper Academy offers an array of supplementary GK specific training programs, camps, and clinics throughout the year that are open to all Goalkeepers regardless of club affiliation. This page will be updated periodically with the latest GK Academy programming.
WINTER 2024 INDOOR GOALKEEPER TRAINING PROGRAM

Winter 1 GK Academy:
Thursday’s: (Jan: 25 / Feb: 1, 8, 15)
7:30 – 8:45 PM
Winter 2 GK Academy:
Thursday’s: (Feb: 22, 29 / March: 7, 14)
7:30 – 8:45 PM
WHERE: Kinetic Sports Dome, United Sports.
WHAT: Supplementary goalkeeper program focusing on everything from shot stopping, basic through advanced diving techniques, 1 on 1 scenarios, crosses & distribution with communication.
WHO: This specific training program is open to current travel level goalkeepers (boys & girls). All players welcome regardless of club affiliation from the 2011 through 2005 birth years.

PRICE: $125 per session (for 4 GK training sessions)

Goalkeepers, please join us on Thursday evenings as Penn Fusion GK Coaches Joe Weiss & Thom Schauerman join forces to bring you a top notch Goalkeeper Training academy inside the state-of-the-art USTC Kinetic Sports Dome. This coaching staff have over 60 years of combined coaching experience and have coached and developed some of the best goalkeepers in the country. During these sessions, all goalkeepers will be exposed to the same training methods and drills that were used to help develop GK’s such as Matt Freese (Penn Fusion Alum, Philadelphia Union & NYFC), Pablo Sisniega (Real Sociedad, LAFC & Charlotte FC), Emily Armstrong (UConn, IFK Kalmar- Sweden & IBV – Iceland), & AJ Marcucci (Penn Fusion Alum, New York Red Bulls). This GK Academy will touch on everything from shot stopping, basic through advanced diving techniques, 1 on 1 scenarios, crosses & distribution with communication.
