ABOUT:
The Penn Fusion Recreation League is a fun, competitive league based in the greater West Chester area offering boys and girls divisions for U6 through to High School age groups.  #InspireExcellenceThroughSoccer

COST:

• Early Bird ($150): ENDS 7/2/2024

• Regular Registration ($175): ENDS 8/4/2024

• Late Registration ($200): 8/5/2024-9/16/2024

  • Roster spot not guaranteed during late registration period

• Multi Sibling Discount: $50 discount on 3 or more children. (Must contact PFSA in order to have discount applied)

TEAM FORMATION:

• Players will assigned to teams by 8/28/2024 (Coach & AGC will communicate to all families via email)

• Balance of teams and league parity is the priority of the league.

• Carpool/friend request will no longer be taken into consideration when making teams.

• Players will be assigned to teams according to age, skill level, and experience.

• No travel level players (registered and/or playing as current seasonal travel player) are permitted to play in the Penn Fusion Recreation Soccer League.

• ​​Coaches:

  • ​Coaches are assigned by the league.

  • Players/Families can NOT request a specific coach.

PLAY DATES:

• During the fall games primarily take place on Saturday’s with some double header weekends (Sat/Sun). 

  • Saturday’s 9/7, 9/14, 9/21, 9/28, 10/5, 10/12

  • Sunday’s: 9/15

  • End of Season Tournament/Playoffs for U10-U19 Teams: 10/19 & 10/20

  • EOS Rain Date: 10/26 & 10/27

    • PFSA reserves the right to reschedule postponed games to Sundays or during week in the event of weather cancellation or other Force Majeure.

​GAME SCHEDULES:

• Age Groups: schedules are expected to be released closer to the season (Date TBD)

  • The league cannot honor any schedule conflict requests, but will do our best to accommodate coaches with two teams.

​GAME TIMES:

• The league will schedule game times between Saturdays (8:00 AM - 6:00 PM) & Sundays (8:00 AM - 6:00 PM).  Schedules may vary week-to-week due to facility availability, weather conditions, rainouts etc.

TRAINING DAYS:

• U6 & U7 Age Groups:

  • The U6 & U7 age groups are expected to train on a specific day and time are assigned by the league, typically in the 5:30 PM - 6:30 PM time slot. Location is TBD.

• ​​U8-U19 Age Groups:

  • Training field location will be provided to you through your child's coach. Once each roster is formed each coach will email his/her roster a 'Welcome Email' outlining practice location/time details etc.  Please contact your coach to confirm practice location/time.

COACHES MEETING

• Mandatory coaches meetings will be held on TBA.

• Links to be emailed out one week prior to meeting.

PARENTS MEETING U6 & U7:

• A pre recorded informational video/presentation will be emailed to all families the week of 8/30/23.

• Live Q&A Remote Drop In Session with League Leadership will take place on TBA.

VOLUNTEER COACHES NEEDED:
Coaching is a great opportunity to volunteer, give back to game and connect with your child and their friends.  All coaches are provided adidas coaching shirt each season and provided an online coaching curriculum with printable training session plans.

REFUND POLICY:
Refunds may be requested through to 8/30/2024, however a $25 admin fee will be applied to all refunds.

• After 8/30/2024 a player may withdraw from the league but no refund can be issued.

• Penn Fusion does not guarantee a minimum number of games and is not responsible for games and practices lost due to weather and/or field conditions. No refunds or partial refunds will be issued due to games lost because of weather and/or field conditions.

AGE GROUP CHART & AGC’s

The league manages age groups based upon 'Birth Year' not calendar year.  This change is directed from our national governing body US Soccer. Each age group is managed by a volunteer Age Group Commissioner (AGC); AGC’s oversee the team formation process, which includes coach & player assignments.
